Lifenol® is capable of fixing itself to estrogenic receptors

The oestrogenic activity of Lifenol® was initially studied in vitro on Ishikawa cells. To find out more about the Ishikawa cell test click here.

Compared to another hops extract, or a soy extract containing 3.5 % isoflavones, Lifenol® turned out to be a more active substance, evidence of its powerful estrogenic activity.
Based on these conclusive results, Naturex then decided to assess the estrogenic powers of Lifenol® on postmenopausal women. Several clinical studies have been conducted and show the effects of Lifenol® on symptoms associated with menopause and particularly hot flashes.
